Vintage Floral Painted Tin Document Box

Some boxes seem made for the things we can’t quite part with. Love letters, family recipes, photographs, little mementos from a life well lived—this charming vintage tin case leaves it to its next owner to decide what is worth keeping.

Its richly patterned green exterior is framed with fine cream lines and centered on a vivid pink rose. Lift the lid and you’ll find an oxblood-red interior, with a small pocket tucked into the lid for one more private treasure.

Why it caught our eye
We love its miniature suitcase shape and the thought of all the stories it might hold. The worn paint and aged metalwork give it the character of something that has already been cherished.
