Why we like it

A wonderful piece of old-school Ivy League history.

This antique Harvard pennant is made from beautifully aged crimson felt with bold cream lettering and Harvard's historic shield, featuring the three open books of VERITAS above the motto Christo et Ecclesiae.

The years have given the felt exactly the character we hope to find in an old collegiate piece: softened color, gentle wear and the unmistakable patina that separates a true vintage pennant from today's reproductions.

Hang it over a library bookcase, tuck it into a gallery wall, or pair it with old sporting photographs, leather-bound books and collected university memorabilia. It's wonderfully graphic on its own and particularly handsome in a traditional study or gentleman's room.
