Letters from Father Christmas — Centenary Edition

J.R.R. Tolkien’s Christmas letters to his children are a small world of their own: snowy adventures, escaped reindeer, an accident-prone Polar Bear, and news from Father Christmas himself. This illustrated centenary edition gathers those letters and drawings into a book to bring out each December and enjoy together.

Why it caught our eye

We love the care behind this family tradition—the imaginative stories, the changing handwriting, and Tolkien’s own colorful illustrations. It’s a thoughtful gift for a Tolkien reader, a lovely addition to a Christmas bookshelf, and a book that invites everyone to settle in for one more letter.
